Service Manager Position:

We have a vacancy an experienced Service Manager, to oversee the end-to-end service function of our farm machinery workshop. We are looking for a person who can motivate and develop staff in order to tackle the fast paced changes occurring in our dynamic industry.
As our Service Manager, you will lead a team of 8 staff members and will coordinate and oversee their work to ensure they carry out their service and assembly work in a safe and tidy manner, efficiently and to the highest standards. You will be a good communicator ensuring all staff have a clear understanding of their tasks and responsibilities.
 
You will be highly organised in order to process all jobs efficiently and meet their deadlines from opening jobs through reviewing them and closing them when complete. You will take pride in a job well done knowing all jobs are completed on time, and to the service levels expected of us by our loyal clients.
 
Maintaining and developing customer relationships is a key priority, whether the customer is a farmer, contractor, dealer or internal staff member. We have an outstanding reputation for customer service, one that we are very proud of. As the communication link between the customers and the service team on all service related jobs, you will ensure that our reputation is maintained and built on.
 
To be successful in the role you will ideally have a sound level of mechanical knowledge, a highly organised and effective manager, and have a commitment to delivering the highest levels of service and professional integrity.
 
We are a busy work place so you need to be willing to work outside of normal working hours, especially during the peak season from October to February.
